Lunch With David Sheepshanks

Best known for chairing Ipswich Town Football Club 1995-2009 and leading the building of St George’s Park The FA National Football Centre, David spoke to local business leaders about his many senior business and leadership roles and his current role as a leadership coach.

He also spoke about the founding and chairing the Suffolk Community Foundation for eight years and the charitable work he continues to do, including chairing the UK Community Foundation for six years, being the Patron of the Ipswich and East Suffolk branch of the Samaritans and serving as President of the Ipswich Citizens Advice Bureau.

Toby Kramers

Committee Chair

Toby was brought up in Suffolk and, after a brief spell at University and working in London, returned to Ipswich to work in a legal practice in Ipswich in the 1990s where he has worked ever since as a solicitor specialising in Commercial Property.

Outside of work, Toby enjoys politics (he was Chairman of and remains involved in the South Suffolk Conservative Association), singing (he has performed with the Essex University Choir) and country sports. He is involved in a number of local charities.
