Lunch With Ipswich MP Tom Hunt

custom-divider

Keen to work with local businesses to unlock Ipswich’s full potential, Tom is setting out his plans for infrastructure, skills and a pro-business environment and is looking forward to addressing the Club on his plans for Ipswich
and hearing business leaders’ aspirations.

Before the election, Tom served in roles which place him in good stead to lead this charge. In 2011, he was elected as councillor in East Cambridgeshire where he helped win the debate over the construction of the Ely Bypass which opened last year.

Tom also worked as a Media Relations Manager for the Countryside Alliance before becoming the Chief of Staff for the Metro Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, where he was closely involved in progressing major infrastructure and housing investments and developing a skills strategy for the area.

Tom knows what it takes to bring investment into East Anglia, a region which often doesn’t get its fair share of funding.

Tom has consistently said that actions speak louder than words and now he is eager to start delivering for the people of Ipswich.
