Barry Chevallier Guild, former chairman of Aspall Cyder, will be guest speaker at the Ipswich Suffolk Business Club lunch on Thursday 6 September, hosted by Milsoms at Kesgrave Hall. This is a unique opportunity to hear this fascinating story first hand.
In January 2018 the eighth generation family-fun Suffolk business Aspall Cyder was sold in a multi-million pound deal to multi-national brewing giant Molson Coors.
Barry Chevallier Guild, who has remained as Chairman to give strategic direction, has agreed to speak to us about the momentous last 12 months and his mixed emotions on selling the family business started by his ancestor Clement Chevallier at Aspall Hall in 1728.
Barry Chevallier Guild will be speaking of his momentous journey with Aspall Cyder, how he built the brand, and his mixed emotions on selling the family business in a multi-million-pound deal to international brewing giant Molson Coors. Aspall Cyder – a family-run business for eight generations – was started by Clement Chevallier at Aspall Hall in 1728.
Barry will also be speaking about his new role at Aspall Cyder as a brand ambassador and consultant. Barry is seen as the ‘conscience’ of the business and will support Molson Coors with the brand’s strategic direction.
The event is FREE for ISBC Members – ticket includes a reception drink and a 2 course meal. Extra tickets are available for members’ guests at £37.50 each or £35 each for a table of 8.
