Venture capitalist and tech giant to speak to Suffolk business leaders

Suranga Chandratillake OBE FREng, the founder of blinkx, a multibillion-dollar search engine company, will be speaking at an exclusive lunch event for Ipswich Suffolk Business Club members and their guests on Thursday 19th September at The Hangar at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall. The event is supported by Milsoms, Greene King and Genesis PR.

Currently a venture capital partner for Balderton Capital and a member of the Government’s Council for Science and Technology, the Cambridge MA computer science graduate and engineer was granted an OBE for services to technology and engineering in the 2018 UK New Year's Honours.

He also holds patents in video discovery and online video advertising and was awarded the Royal Academy of Engineering’s annual Silver Medal for his work.
