Dominic Richards, CEO of Architekton, shares advice to Suffolk business leaders

On Friday 15 September, the Ipswich Suffolk Business Club welcomed guest speaker Dominic Richards, founder and CEO of Architekton, the visionary architect-developers. Dominic is currently regenerating urban sites in east-London and Norwich as well as new settlements for 10,000 people in the South of England. Dominic is also the inspiration behind Retreat East, the private members club and spa which opened in Suffolk this year.

Business leaders in Suffolk enjoyed hearing Dominic’s entrepreneurial journey from retail to the development of community-centred new settlements, as well as his Retreat East journey to create an innovative, socially sustainable second home ownership model. Dominic also shared his vision for sustainable development in East Anglia and the need for “joined-up thinking” between businesses and local government.

The Ipswich Suffolk Business Club event, held at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall, was sponsored by Lexus Ipswich who brought their brand-new luxury sports car, the Lexus LC 500, for guests to test drive before lunch. Corporate supporters of the Ipswich Suffolk Business Club are venue hosts Milsoms at Kesgrave Hall, Genesis PR and Greene King.
