Tour & Reception - University of Suffolk

We are delighted to be welcomed by the University of Suffolk for an exclusive engagement visit, offering members the opportunity to explore key facilities and connect with academic leaders driving innovation, research, and skills development across the region.

The University of Suffolk plays a pivotal role in the economic and social development of Ipswich and the wider region, working closely with industry to support collaboration, applied research, and workforce development.

This visit is designed to strengthen relationships between business and academia, encourage knowledge exchange, and explore opportunities for future collaboration. It combines guided tours with networking opportunities, giving members insight into the University’s specialist facilities and access to senior academic staff.

The programme includes:

  • Welcome & Introduction by Professor Emma Bond
  • Rotating Guided Tours of specialist facilities: Sports & Exercise (including E-Sports), Clinical Simulation Labs, Dentistry Facilities and Laboratories & Mock Court Room
  • Networking, Drinks & Canapés with academic staff and fellow members (Drinks kindly provided by Adnams)

Invited academics include Associate Deans, School Deans, Research Institute Directors, and Heads of Subject.

This event reflects our commitment to building meaningful partnerships between business and academia and supporting growth across Ipswich and Suffolk.

This event is part of your ISBC membership, with no additional charge. Members are welcome to bring guests.
