You and your guest are invited to join the Chairman for a summer evening BBQ held at the beautiful Grade II listed Mansion at Wherstead Park.
Wherstead Park is situated on the outskirts of Ipswich within easy reach of the A12 and A14 with stunning views of the Suffolk countryside leading down to the River Orwell.
The Mansion is of historical significance and is listed on the English Heritage register. It was built in 1792 for Sir Robert Harland by the famous architect Sir Jeffry Wyatville on the site of an older house. It has been the residence of many notable people over the centuries. Joining us for the BBQ will be Nick Denny, Joint Chief Executive of the East of England Co-op. He will be talking about his background, and the background and history of Wherstead Park and the Co-op.
Enjoy a relaxed long July summer evening with us with a BBQ and some fizz in the grandeur of the Georgian period style.
If not already a member and to join us at this special additional summer event, please email secretary@isbclub.org.uk to enquire about membership.
