We are delighted to invite you to this exclusive evening event with His Honour Judge Martyn Levett.

Judge Levett has lived in Suffolk for 50 years. He first qualified in Chemical Engineering at Leeds University before pursuing a career in law. He was called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in 1978 and practised as a barrister both locally and at Red Lion Chambers in London.

In 2000, he was appointed as a Recorder in the Crown Court, and in 2010 was authorised to sit at the Central Criminal Court (Old Bailey). He became a Circuit Judge in March 2015, was appointed Resident Judge of Ipswich Crown Court in November 2017, and was named Honorary Recorder of Ipswich in July 2019.

This is a unique opportunity to hear from one of the region’s most distinguished legal professionals, as he shares insights from a career spanning decades in both local and national courts.

Drinks and canapés will be served. Additional guest tickets are priced at £40 per person.
